BC's Alison Duddy in the news

Quesnel resident Alison Duddy tells the Quesnel Cariboo Observer that she's "looking for redemption" after winning a provincial title last year, but losing the national final to a BC Host Team.

This year she and teammate/coach Frank LaBounty join defending champions Gary Cormack and Vince Miele in a joint challenge for gold. “It’s kind of like if you can’t beat them, join them,” Duddytold reporter Percy Herbert.

Her team defeated Jim Armstrong in the BC Provincials to earn their ticket to Edmonton, though she gives full credit to LaBounty for his coaching skill, and to her sponsors for making it possible for her to travel to the Kimberley Provincials.
