Players competing in the men's provincial championships for the SaskTel Tankard and a place at the Brier, took some time out to try wheelchair curling with members of Team Saskatchewan on Saturday.
"I hogged at least three. I hit the boards, like, three times and I threw the wrong turn three times," Chadd McKenzie told Kevin Mitchell of The StarPhoenix.
Mackenzie's team of able-bodied curlers lost 11-2 in six ends to the wheelchair squad. "That just shows . . . I've curled for 11 years, but going into this is completely different. It's a different game," he said.
