Canada A over Evergreen 12 - 5 .
Interesting note is evergreen took 5 in the 3 end.

Jim then walked all over them.

Canada B over RCD 7-4 (????Not exactly sure)

Korea A (Silver Medal team from Paralympics) vs. 4 C's (Chris S., Cormack and DAW)

another GREAT GAME!!!!!!! Daw thorwing very well ,playing 3rd. Team had a greta game. Cormack makes a great play in 3 to help give lead a lead 5-2.

In 6 a couple of miss by Chris S. lets Korea get 3 for the tie.

In the last end Korea's 3rd with last stone comes though a very tight port to take out 4's shot rock. Behind full cover DAW comes though the same port with heavey draw weight to get shot rock back. Korea crashes on guard. Chris D. and Chris S. agree with placing the guard and Chris S. throws just a little 2 much wieght but 4's sit 1 & 2. Korea tries for the take out and it over curls

4 C's beat Koera A 6-5

Again, can't say what a great game it was to watch!

Sounds like Chris Daw is playing better than ever. Any comments from Team Canada coaches?

None, they are passing him by? Not talking to him, etc.

Looks like he is not playing this afternoon, not sure why?

Canada 1 is REALLY on a roll. As a team, they have never looked better.

Simply humiliated Canada 2 in the fight for first seed.

Chris was unable to play in the afternoon due to a family emergency with his daughter.

She was rushed to hospital this afternoon.

I think I would choose my family over playing too.

Eric, can you find out more information?

Chris has informed me that his baby daughter was indeed rushed to hospital this morning and is still experiencing some difficulties. That was why he did not play this afternoon.

I'm sure everyone here will wish him and his family all the best at what must be a difficult time.

Chris also said:

"I do feel terrible for not being available but my family must come first. I do apologize to all; most of all my team mates Chris, Gary and corrine. I am not sure if I will be able to finish this weekend but did enjoy the opportunity to play again."
