RUMOUR OF THE DAY:

Eric, can you confirm?

Chris Daw has been taken under the wing of Jim Armstrong for B.C. Provincial playdowns......seems to be the undertone story of the Richmond Event.....Chris to play second ahead of Darryl and Jim.....if a fact, did Team Canada orchestrate this as a real and final shot for Chris, without being a part of the obvious decision?

Chris introduced Jim to the sport three years ago in Ontario, and seems like they have always had an okay relationship since, regardless of Chris's issues with the program.

If fact, good on Jim and Darryl (and the CCA, for that matter) to give Chris a real shot.

This is the kind of stuff we can build on.

Is the rumour actually fact?

If so, good on Jim and Darryl.....no matter what has happened before, Daw's credentials should at least allow him a chance.

I can't imagine Team Canada staff wanting to see this. Guess who would be he odds-on fvourites at Provincials and Canadians?

So what does this mean???

Is Daw playing with Armstrong? Is this confirmed?

Seems a bit unfair to have that strong of a team does it not?

Who is playing lead? Sonja, Ina?

Looks like a dream team if you as me. Does anyone know anymore about this?

Jim, Darryl, Chris and Jaquline.

I have been told that Chris Daw has been calling Jim and Darryl for months to be on their team.
Yet he says they asked him??
Can anyone tell the truth?
Daw played terribly in the RCD - when he was there. He talks a good talk but when you see blogs about how good h played you know who wrote them - he did! It will be interesting to see how this will all play out.

Ok, I doubt very much Chris has been calling either guy for months. Darryl is to busy or away and so is Jim, Jim most of all.

Daw did not play terribly at the RCD, I watched him and he played very well. For a guy who does not play on any team, does nto play competitive, has not real reason even to play. He played well. Very well. Look what happen to the 4 C's after he left.

He had to leave for family reason. People need to grow up a little. I doubt very much Chris even had the time to call around. I know also for a fact that Chris had been talking to Gary Cormack about provincials; so if Chris is playing with Jim this would very much be a surprise to Gary.

I know very well that Daw did not write the post on here because I did. Little know fact is Chris was in Hospital at for at least a week just prior to the RCD so how the hell could he write on here.
